What are Scheduling Links?
Simple but powerfully customizable, Scheduling Links make scheduling meetings faster and easier. A scheduling link corresponds to a type of meeting you'd like to schedule, and you can create as many scheduling links as you like.
For example, a sales representative might setup 2 scheduling links, one for intro sales meetings, and one for product demo meetings. The sales rep can tailor each link to the type of meeting that's being scheduled. For example:
Link 1: "Prospect Introduction Meetings"
- Monday and Tuesday between 1pm and 5pm
- Location: 123-456-7890
- Remind attendees 1 day before the meeting
Link 2: "Product Demo Meetings":
- Wednesday and Thursday between 9am and 4pm
- Location: Screenshare demo on Zoom conference link
Creating your first Scheduling Link
1. From the web app or chrome extension, click the green "New Scheduling Link" button:
This will open the scheduling link creator, which consists of a list of settings for your link along with a scheduling experience section that visualizes the scheduling flow that users will experience:
2. Choose your URL type
Meetingbird supports two types of URLs:
- A short, auto-generated URL (meetingbird.com/m/12345)
- Or a customizable URL (meetingbird.com/l/johndoe/product-demos).
Meetingbird will generate a URL for you by default, but you can also set a URL:
3. Set the times that meeting requestors can book
Click the "Availability and Calendar Settings" section to set the times that users will be able to book.
- Use Non-recurring times if you have specific time and dates in mind like June 20th, 2pm-4pm and June 22nd, 10am-12pm.
- Use Recurring times if you want to have the same meeting availability week to week ("every Tuesday from 9am to 4pm").

4. Prevent double booking
In most cases, once a user books a meeting with you, you'll want that slot to be hidden from future meeting requestors to prevent double booking. Meetingbird handles this using the Prevent Double Booking setting. By default, Meetingbird will hide any time slots that overlap with events on your default calendar, but you can also add or remove additional calendars to customize this behavior.
5. Customize the topic, duration, location, and more of events scheduled with this link by using the Event Settings section.
6. Customize the appearance and branding of your scheduling page
Click the Appearance & Branding section to add your own Logo, Website URL, brand colors, and more.
7. Create your link
Feel free to explore the other settings for Questions, Reminder Emails, etc.. Once you're done configuring your link, click the blue "Create Link" button. You'll be given your scheduling link URL, which you can now send to anyone to start scheduling meetings!
Editing Your Scheduling Link
Any time you need to make changes to your scheduling link (for example, change the available times or meeting topic), just open Meetingbird and click the blue edit button for the link you want to edit:
